Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp Eden Agar Agar Flakes
- 1 cup water
- 32 ounces Carob Edensoy, or Cocoa
- 1/4 cup instant grain coffee powder, or instant coffee
- 2/3 cup organic maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp Eden Barley Malt Syrup
- 1 pinch Eden Sea Salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Eden Kuzu Root Starch, dissolved in 3 T. cold water
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions
Place agar agar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce flame to low and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until agar dissolves. Add Edensoy, instant grain coffee, maple syrup, barley malt, salt and dissolved kuzu to the saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce flame to low and simmer another 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into a shallow pan or baking dish. Place in the freezer for 2 hours or until frozen. Remove, cut into chunks and puree several seconds in a blender or food processor, just until creamy . Serve immediately.
