Cook pasta as package directs, rinse, drain and set aside. Reserve shiitake soaking liquid, discard stems and slice caps. Cook mushrooms in soaking water for 15 minutes. Heat oil, sauté broccoli and pea pods for 2 minutes. Add red pepper and garlic, sauté for 1 more minute. Add shiitake and cooking liquid, mirin, brown rice vinegar, and shoyu. Bring to a boil, add kuzu, stir constantly, and cook until kuzu becomes thick and clear. Serve over pasta and garnish with green onions.
