Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp EDEN Roasted Sesame Tahini
- 1 cup Original Edensoy, Vanilla, or Unsweetened
- 1 Tbsp organic maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp Eden Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch Eden Sea Salt
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Eden Brown Rice Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Eden Kuzu Root Starch
- 5 slices whole wheat bread
- 2 Tbsp Eden Safflower Oil
- 1/2 cup Eden Apple Butter, or organic maple syrup
Directions
Combine tahini, Edensoy, syrup, spices, salt, vanilla, vinegar and kuzu in a bowl. Mix with a whisk until kuzu is dissolved and ingredients are well blended. Soak bread slices in mixture. Heat oil in a skillet, fry slices until golden on both sides. Serve with warm Eden Apple Butter, Eden Apple Cherry Butter, Eden Apple Sauce, Eden Apple Cherry Sauce, Eden Apple Strawberry Sauce, or pure maple syrup.
