Whole Onions with Kuzu Gravy

Directions

Place onions in a small saucepan, add water, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 15 minutes or until tender. Remove onions and place in a serving bowl. Add miso to the onion cooking water and stir. Slowly add the kuzu, stirring constantly until thick. Cook 1 minute over low heat. Pour gravy over the onions and garnish with parsley.
