Ingredients
- 8 ounces any Eden Pasta, 1 package
- 2 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 cloves garlic, pressed
- 3 Tbsp organic unbleached white flour
- 3 cups Original Edensoy, or Unsweetened
- 2 tsp Eden Mirin
- 1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt
- 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced into long thin strips
- 1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
or 1/2 teaspoon Eden Dried Basil - 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
- 1 pinch Eden Black Pepper
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with a few drops of olive oil. To make the sauce, heat up the oil in a sauce pan. Add the garlic and sauté 1 minute or so. Add the flour, reduce flame to low, and stir constantly for 3 to 5 minutes. Slowly add the Edensoy, stirring constantly with a whisk until the sauce thickens. Add the sea salt, mirin and peppers. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the basil, parsley and black pepper. Turn off heat, mix in pasta and serve.
