Serves 4 | Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 20 minutes
• 8 ounces any Eden Pasta, 1 package
White Sauce
• 2 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 3 cloves garlic, pressed
• 3 Tbsp organic unbleached white flour
• 3 cups Edensoy Original, or Unsweetened
• 2 tsp Eden Mirin
• 1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt
• 1 medium red bell pepper, sliced into long thin strips
• 1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
or 1/2 teaspoon Eden Dried Basil
• 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
• 1 pinch Eden Black Pepper
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with a few drops of olive oil. To make the sauce, heat up the oil in a sauce pan. Add the garlic and sauté 1 minute or so. Add the flour, reduce flame to low, and stir constantly for 3 to 5 minutes. Slowly add the Edensoy, stirring constantly with a whisk until the sauce thickens. Add the sea salt, mirin and peppers. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the basil, parsley and black pepper. Turn off heat, mix in pasta and serve.
