Preheat the oven to 350°, Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle an equal amount of olive oil over each slice. Sprinkle an equal amount of minced garlic on each. Place in the oven and bake for about 5 minutes until warm and crisp.

Turn the oven to broil. Place the tray under the broiler and brown the slices for several seconds, being careful not burn them. Remove and place on a serving dish.

Yield: 9 slices; 3 per person
