Chili Bread Bowl

Chili Bread Bowl

Ingredients

  • 5 sourdough round boules
    or 5 medium sourdough Kaiser rolls
  • 29 ounces Eden Pinto Bean & Spelt Chili
    or any Eden Chili
  • 1/2 cup Tofu Sour Cream, (see Eden's online recipe)
  • 1/2 cup guacamole, (see Eden's online recipe)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375° F. Cut a 2 1/2" to 3" circle off the top of the bread, remove, hollow out the loaf leaving a 1/2" or so of bread around the inside creating a bowl. Quickly toast in the oven until hot and crispy. Place the bread bowl on a plate. Heat the chili in a medium saucepan. When hot, pour into the bread bowl. Serve topped with tofu sour cream and guacamole.
