Ingredients
- 2 cups Eden Oat Flakes
or any Eden Whole Grain Flakes - 1/2 cup walnuts, dry roasted and chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans, dry roasted and chopped
- 3 Tbsp organic maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp Eden Barley Malt Syrup
- 1 pinch Eden Sea Salt
- 3 cups Eden Apple Sauce
or Eden Apple Strawberry Sauce, Apple Cherry Sauce or Apple Cinnamon Sauce
Directions
Heat a heavy skillet and dry roast the oats for several minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Mix in the roasted nuts, add the syrups and sea salt. Reduce the heat to medium, stir constantly for 5 more minutes or until the syrup begins to harden around the oat and nut mixture. Allow to cool and harden several minutes. Remove from the skillet and crumble on top of Eden Apple Sauce, Eden Apple Cherry Sauce, Eden Apple Strawberry Sauce, or your favorite stewed fruit.
