Sift the matcha tea powder through a small fine mesh strainer into a coffee mug. Pour the hot water over and whisk to remove all lumps. Add the honey or maple syrup and stir.
Heat the Edensoy to almost boil, but do not boil. Pour hot Edensoy over the matcha and whisk with a small hand blender or whisk to froth. Serve.
