EDENSOY soymilk launched in July 1983. It created a new, non-dairy liquid food grocery category causing a stampede of food manufacturers to make imitations. None of them addressed the required needs to produce good liquid food from soy. EDENSOY remains the sole soymilk providing pure, proper nourishment and nature’s good taste. It is precisely engineered as food for humans by an old miso maker company with thorough knowledge of what is required and how to do it.
To unlock a soybean’s storehouse of nourishment, a specific cooking scheme of temperatures and pressures is a must to turn them into exceptionally good food. This requires know-how and the correct equipment, both of which have been reliably looked after in making EDENSOY for over 37 years.
Flavor masking chemicals (ingredients unmentioned because they are ‘processing aids’) and other untoward additives are how ignorance or avoidance of doing it correctly are lazily accommodated by imitations.
Only EDENSOY contains sought after value. The result of thorough knowledge in how to best choose and prepare soybeans. It is organically grown and made at a Michigan plant with more than 240 continuous quality control checks. From doubly purified water, a patented enzyme invalidator, to Swedish aseptic packaging equipment, every step taken contributes to greater value and the best possible nourishment from whole soy. EDENSOY remains alone in the U.S. as a soymilk that is properly prepared to nurture people.
Real vs. Artificial Flavors
“Natural flavors” are artificially made chemical adulterants, and usually toxic. Commercial plant-based milks use easy processes and cheap ingredients. Hexane defatted GMO soy isolates, refined sugar (using disguise names), chemical flavors, whiteners, propylene glycol, and unlisted processing aids are some. According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), natural flavors commonly contain more chemicals than artificial flavors. FDA does not require listing of these hidden “incidental additives” on food labels. Furthermore, the EWG says, “Flavor extracts and food ingredients that have been derived from genetically engineered crops may also be labeled ‘natural’ because the FDA has not defined what the term ‘natural’ means. We are told by the chemical sales folks that every soymilk, except EDENSOY, uses undeclared chemical flavor maskers. Every ingredient in EDENSOY is dutifully declared on its label.
America’s First Non-GMO Verified Soymilk
Foreseeing the commercialization of genetically engineered soybeans, Eden Foods took every step necessary to maintain EDENSOY purity. In 1993, Eden created and implemented a system to avoid genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and their derivatives in Eden foods. This system required participation of Eden growers and suppliers. By 1997, GMO testing protocols were fully implemented. Today, these non-GMO supply systems remain pure. Much work is demanded to keep EDENSOY free of GMOs, including stringent tests of seed, during growing, at the storage elevator, and at the manufacturing plant. Eden avoids the use of GMO derived pharmaceutical enzymes and knows all farms, fields, farmers, and suppliers.
When the New York Times tested 11 soy and corn based foods, only one tested GMO free – EDENSOY. In 2009, EDENSOY became America’s first soymilk verified by the Non-GMO Project for GMO avoidance after thorough analysis covering everything from seed to packaging materials.
Highest Rated
EDEN brand soyfoods achieved the highest score of 955 out of 1,000, and the top rating in the Organic Soy Scorecard showing results of a year-and-a-half study on the social, environmental, and health impact of soyfoods in North America. Cornucopia Institute, an independent advocate working to preserve organic integrity and create economic justice for family farmers, created the report. It evaluated 62 organic brands, rating them on ten criteria including sourcing, stringency of organic certifier, and prevention of GMO and chemical contamination. Eden was declared a “Hero” and EDENSOY ranked, by far, the highest in the organic food industry. Full report at cornucopia.org.
This August, EDENSOY is the top ranked plant-based beverage scoring a perfect 1850 out of 1850 possible points. cornucopia.org/scorecard/plant-based-beverages

The Kitchen
An underrated place where the future is forged, destiny is determined. Selection and intelligent preparation of food is mission-critical during our journey, procreation, and nourishment of what we love.
Pure whole grain and local vegetables provide abundance. Avoid being persuaded by and dependent upon ridiculously sweet chemical tastes and carnival colored food. Baseless marketing glitter and empty promises must be seen for what they are, detrimental. Acquiring skills in food selection and preparation is demeaned by our culture. The results are apparent throughout society where they give rise to needless suffering and insanity. Commercial imitation food only serves to enrich and encourage the horribly misguided.
Learn and follow a way of abundant blessing, joy, and enrichment of life. Practice a well-prepared balanced diet. Nourish life, good judgement, and intuition. Doing so will define and center principles for you that serve as a compass.
For instance – If what we are doing diminishes the importance of what happens in the kitchen, or how it affects life on Earth, we are going in the wrong direction.
