Clinton, Michigan – Organic EDEN Grape Butter has been honored by Prevention magazine with a '100 Cleanest Packaged Food' award. The announcement is featured in the March 2015 issue of Prevention magazine under 'Healthy Breakfast Ideas.'
Speaking of the awards Prevention wrote, "You can sidestep processed, additive-laden supermarket pests and go straight for the most wholesome of the ready-to-eat harvest – if you know what to look for. That's why we cut through the marketing hype and scrutinized hundreds of labels to bring you the ultimate in clean eating. A shopping list of 100 truly healthy snacks and staples ..."
In reference to EDEN Grape Butter they wrote, "Ditch sugary jams and jellies and top toast instead with this slow-simmered blend of grapes. Made from fruit only, this butter is lower in calories but richer in flavor than traditional fruit spreads."
EDEN Grape Butter is made from one ingredient, 100% Concord grapes organically grown on a 20 plus year organic family vineyard on the shore of New York's Keuka Finger Lake. Whole seeded grapes are cooked into a puree and slowly kettle simmered to a thick, rich, spreadable butter. Just pure fruit goes into each glass jar of organic EDEN Grape Butter. It is superb and unlike any other with a sweet tart flavor, deep purple color, and ambrosial aroma that is characteristic of fine Concord grapes. No refined sugar or anything else is ever added.
