Heat a small skillet and dry roast the sea salt until it releases a chlorine smell. Place in a coffee grinder or suribachi (Japanese mortar and pestle) grind until it is powdered.

Tear the nori into small pieces and grind until powdered in a blender.

After separately dry roasting the seeds, place them in the blender. Add the ground sea salt and grind until seeds are almost completely crushed. Place in a sealed glass jar.

Sprinkle on cooked whole grains, hot cereal, pasta, salads, steamed veggies, or even on popcorn.

Yield: about 48 Tbsp.; Serving: 1 Tbsp per person.
