Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Eden Toasted Sesame Oil, optional, or olive oil can be used
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup Eden Hulled Buckwheat
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup carrots, sliced into 1/4" rounds
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup Eden Sauerkraut, or Three Onion Sauerkraut
- 1/4 cup sauerkraut brine, drained from the Eden Organic Sauerkraut
- 2 Tbsp minced parsley, for garnish
Directions
Heat oil in a medium saucepan and sauté onion for 2 to 3 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients except for the parsley. Cover, bring to a boil, reduce flame to medium-low and simmer 20 minutes. Place in a serving dish and garnish with parsley.
