Buckwheat Pancakes

Buckwheat Pancakes

Serves 5 | Prep Time 5 minutes | Cook Time 15 minutes


1 cup organic buckwheat flour

1 cup organic unbleached white flour

1 Tbsp non-aluminum baking powder

3 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt

1 cup Original Edensoy
or Unsweetened Edensoy

3/4 cup water

1 Tbsp Eden Apple Cider Vinegar

Eden Safflower Oil, for frying pancakes
or Eden Sesame Oil


Mix the flour, sea salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Combine the wet ingredients, mix and add to the dry ingredients. Stir with a wire whisk. Lightly oil a pancake griddle and ladle the batter on to form the pancakes. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Remove and place on a serving platter. Repeat until all pancakes are made. Serve with pure maple syrup, Eden Apple Butter, Eden Apple Sauce, Eden Cherry Butter, Eden Apple Cherry Butter, Eden Apple Cherry Sauce, or Eden Apple or Tart Cherry Concentrate syrup.
