Serves 4 | Prep Time 5 minutes | Cook Time 5 minutes
• 1 cup Edensoy Original, Extra Original, or Unsweetened
• 2 Tbsp Eden Safflower Oil, or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• 1/4 tsp Eden Sea Salt
• 1 Tbsp Eden Kuzu Root Starch, dissolved in 2 T. cold water
• 1 Tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
• 1/8 tsp Eden Paprika Powder, for garnish, or ground nutmeg
Combine Edensoy, oil, salt and dissolved kuzu. Mix well. Simmer about 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly with a wire whisk until mixture becomes thick and creamy. Add lemon juice. Pour hot over food and garnish with paprika or ground nutmeg. Delicious over cooked vegetables, fish, tempeh, tofu, or seafood. No eggs!
