Serves 5 | Prep Time 5 minutes | Cook Time 20 minutes
• 2 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or Safflower Oil
• 2 cloves garlic, pressed
• 3 Tbsp organic unbleached white flour
• 3 cups Unsweetened Edensoy, or Original
• 1 tsp Eden Mirin
• 1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt
• 1/8 tsp fresh parsley, minced
• 1 pinch Eden Black Pepper
Heat the oil in a saucepan. Sauté garlic 1 minute, add flour and stir constantly until all oil is absorbed by the flour, about 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Slowly add Edensoy and stir constantly with a whisk until sauce thickens. Add sea salt, mirin, and black pepper. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in parsley. Delicious served over cooked whole grain, polenta, or Eden Pasta.
