• 0.88 oz Eden Dried Lion's Mane Mushrooms
• 1 1/4 cup water
• 12 Tbsp organic maple syrup
• 2 Tbsp Eden Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
• 5 Tbsp water, including mushroom cooking water
• 1 Tbsp Eden Cumin Powder
• 1 Tbsp Eden Ground Chili Pepper
• 1 tsp Eden Garlic Powder
• 1/4 tsp Eden Sea Salt
• 1 tsp Eden Brown Sesame Seeds
• 2 tsp Eden Safflower Oil, for trying kebabs
• 2 tsp Eden Toasted Sesame Oil
Place lion's mane, water and maple syrup in a small saucepan, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain, reserve water, and allow mushrooms to cool.
Mix flour, spices, salt and water in a small mixing bowl forming a batter. When mushrooms are cool, squeeze out excess water. Add mushrooms to the batter and mix to coat. Place batter-coated mushrooms equally on three 6 to 8-inch bamboo skewers and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Heat oils on a cast iron griddle. When hot, place skewers on the griddle and reduce heat to medium. Fry, turning occasionally while pressing down on the mushrooms with a spatula, until they sizzle. Turn and repeat 2 or 3 times until golden brown and a crust forms. Remove and place on a serving plate.
