Dry Pan Roasted Black Sesame Seeds

Ingredients

• 1 cup Eden Black Sesame Seeds

Directions

Rinse seeds in a fine mesh strainer and drain. Heat a heavy stainless steel skillet and place the seeds in it. Using a wooden paddle, dry roast the seeds, stirring frequently until they release a pleasant aroma and begin to pop.

To test for doneness, take a tablespoonful of hot seeds and drop back into the skillet. When seeds no longer adhere to the tablespoon the seeds are done. Test frequently the last 5 minutes.
