• 1 1/2 cups Eden Short or Medium Grain Brown Rice, washed, drained
• 1/2 cup any Eden Dry Beans, washed, drained
• 3 cups water, including reserved water from parboiling dry beans
• 1 pinch Eden Sea Salt
Place dry beans in a heavy pot and add enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil without a lid. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain the cooking water from the beans and reserve. Place the cooked beans, brown rice and sea salt in the cooker. Pour the reserved cooking water into a large measuring cup. Add enough cold water to equal 3 cups water. Pour the water in the cooker, cover, and bring up to pressure over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the pressure to come down naturally. Let sit for 10 minute, remove lid from cooker, and spoon the rice and beans into a serving dish. Serve with a sprinkle of any Eden Gomasio, Dulse Flakes or Eden Shake.
