Clinton, Michigan — Eden Foods, a natural foods company established in 1968, presents two new Japanese misos in tub packages, Mugi Miso and Barley & Brown Rice Miso. They are artisan crafted by one of Japan's oldest miso companies that have made miso since 1854 in Nagano, Japan. The new tub package with a one-way valve allows gas to escape and prevents oxygen from entering. It avoids the need of heat to reduce biological activity of the living culture, unpasteurized miso. These traditionally fermented, organic misos are stupendously delicious fermented soy and grain pastes.
