Clinton, Michigan - Eden Foods announces the promotion of Mr. Jonathan A. Solomon to Vice President of Eden Foods, Inc.
Mr. Solomon began working at Eden Foods in 1997 in the Purchasing Department as a Buyer. Since, he has been promoted to Supervisor of organic commodities in 1999, and to Manager of the Department in 2002. He became a corporate Director in 2007.
The promotion to Vice President further empowers Mr. Solomon in his range of responsibilities and application of expertise accumulated over twenty-two years in the natural food industry. His responsibilities include oversight of infrastructure operations at all Eden facilities - headquarters at Clinton, Michigan; the Eden Organic Pasta Company in Detroit, Michigan; Meridian Foods cannery in Eaton, Indiana; distribution from Union City, California; and the Sobaya Pasta Company of Montréal, Québec.
Jon's greatest satisfaction comes from working with others who are furthering the development of sustainable organic agriculture and markets for them, and forming solid relationships out of respect and mutual trust. Jon will continue his role at Eden Foods as Managing Director of Purchasing and Operations.
