Hummus (dried bean)

Serves 5 | Prep Time 20 minutes | Cook Time 1 hour 20 minutes

1/2 cup Eden Dry Garbanzo Beans, soaked

1 clove minced garlic

3 Tbsp organic tahini (sesame butter)

1/4 tsp Eden Sea Salt

2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 Tbsp fresh minced parsley

1/2 cup reserved bean cooking liquid


Cook beans per package directions. When done, drain and reserve 1/2 cup bean cooking liquid. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until creamy. Place in a dish and serve with warm pita bread, any Eden Chips or Crackers, sliced cucumbers, or with raw or steamed celery and carrot sticks.
