Place agar agar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce flame to low and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until agar dissolves. Add Edensoy, instant grain coffee, maple syrup, barley malt, salt and dissolved kuzu to the saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce flame to low and simmer another 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into a shallow pan or baking dish. Place in the freezer for 2 hours or until frozen. Remove, cut into chunks and puree several seconds in a blender or food processor, just until creamy . Serve immediately.
