Grilled Herbed Sweet Corn

Grilled Herbed Sweet Corn

Ingredients

4 ears organic sweet corn, leave husks on

2 quarts water, for boiling corn

2 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tsp fresh parsley, finely minced

1 tsp fresh basil, finely minced

1 tsp fresh thyme, finely minced

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tsp Eden Umeboshi Paste
or 1/2 tsp. Eden Sea Salt, or 2 tsp. any Eden Organic Gomasio

Directions

Boil the corn in water for 5 to 7 minutes, remove, drain and allow to cool slightly. Remove the husks. Keeping the husks on while boiling holds the sweet favor and vitamins in the corn.

Mix the oil, garlic and herbs together. Drizzle the herbed oil over the ears of corn. Cook the corn on a tabletop or outside grill, turning the ears often until crisp and golden. Remove and rub a small amount of Eden Umeboshi Paste on each ear, or sprinkle a little Eden Sea Salt or Gomasio on each ear.
