Spicy Black Soybean Hummus

Spicy Black Soybean Hummus


1 clove garlic, minced

15 ounces Eden Black Beans, 1 can drained, reserve liquid

2 Tbsp red onion, minced

3 Tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed

1 1/2 Tbsp organic roasted tahini (sesame butter)

2 tsp fresh cilantro, finely chopped
or fresh parsley

1/2 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp Eden Ume Plum Vinegar

1/8 tsp cayenne, or to taste

1 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped for garnish


Combine all ingredients, except the green onions, in a food processor, adding about 3 tablespoons reserved bean liquid to create a thick puree. Garnish with green onions. Serve with Eden Brown Rice Chips, Sea Vegetable Chips, Vegetable Chips, Wasabi Chips or Eden Brown Rice Crackers.
