Garbanzo Basil Hummus

15 ounces Eden Garbanzo Beans, do not drain
or cooked Eden Dry Garbanzo Beans

3 Tbsp organic roasted tahini (sesame butter)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup red onion, minced

1 tsp Eden Umeboshi Paste, or to taste

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, optional

1/2 cup fresh basil, packed and chopped

2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice


Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Great with any Eden Brown Rice Chips, Eden Brown Rice Crackers, warm pita bread, or sesame bread sticks.
