Marinara Sauce with Capers & Black Olives

Marinara Sauce with Capers & Black Olives


1 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 medium onions, diced

5 cloves garlic, pressed

25 ounces Eden Spaghetti Sauce No Salt, 1 jar

2 Tbsp small capers

1/2 tsp dried basil

1 cup pitted black olives
or kalamata or green olives can be substituted

1 pinch Eden Sea Salt, or to taste, if desired


Heat oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add spaghetti sauce, cover and bring to a boil. Chop olives. Add capers, basil, and olives to the sauce. Season to taste with sea salt or shoyu. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with any Eden Pasta. A great meal with a salad and your favorite bread!
