Pasta Vegetable Soup

Cook Time 40 minutes
Cook pasta as package directs, rinse and drain. Heat oil in a soup pot and sauté onions and garlic until onions are translucent. Add herbs and sauté briefly. Add carrots, potatoes and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce the flame to medium low and simmer 30 minutes. Add spaghetti sauce, corn, beans, barley malt and shoyu. Cover and simmer 5 minutes more. Add pasta, stir and serve.
Eden Cannellini (White Kidney) Beans, Organic Navy Beans or any Eden Bean can be substituted for the Great Northern Beans.
