Pasta with White Sauce

Pasta with White Sauce


8 ounces Eden Parsley Garlic Ribbons, 1 package
or any Eden Pasta

2 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 medium red bell pepper, sliced into long thin strips

1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

White Sauce

1 Tbsp Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 1/2 Tbsp organic unbleached white flour

1 1/2 cups Edensoy Original
or Edensoy Unsweetened

2 tsp Eden Mirin, 109780

2 cloves garlic, pressed

2 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced

1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt


Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with olive oil. To make the sauce, heat up the oil in a sauce pan. Add the garlic and flour, reduce flame to low, and stir constantly for 3 to 5 minutes. Slowly add the Edensoy, stirring constantly with a whisk until the sauce thickens. Add the sea salt and mirin. Stir in the parsley. Add peppers and herbs to white sauce while simmering. Turn off heat, mix in pasta and serve.
