Ziti Rigati with Basil Pine Nut Pesto

Serves 6 | Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 10 minutes

12 ounces Eden Ziti Rigati

1/2 cup pine nuts, lightly dry pan roasted
or sunflower seeds

1/4 cup Eden Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup water

1/2 tsp Eden Sea Salt

4 cups fresh basil leaves, loosely packed, chopped


Cook pasta according to package directions, rinse quickly and drain. While the pasta is cooking, grind nuts in a blender or food processor. Add olive oil, garlic, sea salt, water and basil. Blend until creamy smooth. Pour pesto over the pasta while still hot.
