Oily Skin Cleanser
Dab on the face with cotton swabs or a face cloth, especially the forehead and sides of the nose where most oils gather. The remaining tea can be refrigerated for later use for 2 to 3 days. Allow to come to room temperature again before using.
A traditional Japanese and Macrobiotic home remedy. The astringent alkaline qualities of kukicha tea cleanses the pores. Do several times per week until the condition improves.
Place the tea in a tea ball or directly into a tea pot with the water. Bring to a boil. Reduce the flame to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes. The tea needs to be fairly strong and dark. Allow to cool to room temperature.
